Turntable Tuesday Video: ‘Follow You Follow Me’ By Genesis

Genesis has been around for a really long time.

“…And The There Were Three…” was Genesis’ 9th studio album that was released in 1978.

“Follow You Follow Me” was on that album, but even the band was surprised that the song became a hit.

Even though the group would go on to have much higher charting songs, this was the band’s first single to break the Top 25 in the US, peaking at #23.

The song was written by band member Mike Rutherford, who was not only a part of Genesis, but he had his own band, Mike and The Mechanics.

He also plays the guitar and bass guitar on the track as well while Phil Collins sings lead!
