PHOTO: Famous Chicago Chef Charlie Trotter Is Getting His Own Statue On Michigan Avenue

He was born in Wilmette, went to New Trier High School and now he’ll be immortalized in bronze along Michigan Avenue!

A statue of the late Chicago chef Charlie Trotter was unveiled yesterday at a River West gallery, but it won’t be staying there for ever!

ABC 7 says that it’ll soon find a permanent home along Michigan Avenue!

Where exactly is still being worked out with the City, but I’ll let you know as soon as they decide!

Trotter died in 2013 at the age of 54 but left behind a legacy of food and foundations that help young people!
